Dulytek® Retrofit Rosin Caged Heat Plate Kit, 4" x 9" Food-Grade Anodized Aluminum Dual Heating Plates, for 20 - 40 Ton Shop Presses

upon receiving my retrofit press, I was very impressed with how study everything seemed to be.. seemed to be is the key phrase there. after cutting the zip tied that held the plastic bags over the plugs for both of the hot plates, I immediately noticed that one of the plugs was VERY oblong shaped. and of course, the female plug on the control box was round, not oblong... needless to say that the plug was severely bent out of shape to the point that it wouldn't even start to go into the plug.. the second thing that I noticed almost instantly after removing all of the contents from the packaging, when I sat the control box down, it wouldn't set flat on my press. Unfortunately... another manufacturer's defect. one of the 4 magnetic legs on my control unit is a little over an eighth of an inch longer than the other three legs.. after spending over $500 with dulytek and as a new customer... I have to say I am pretty disappointed with how my experience has been so far.. took 3 weeks for it to arrive, only to find out that it isn't even functional.. hopefully their customer service is MUCH better than the first impression that I was left with.

I would definitely order again. Amazing quality I can't stress enough. Huge surface and the temp is right on.

These thick plates are well-insulated, nicely chromed/anodized and heavy duty. They heat up quickly. Strong C clips, sturdy plugs, solid switch and the wires have looms for less wear. It's fun to use, just takes a small amount of practice to become a pro. Would buy this again 100%

These are solid plates designed to last. The quality is noticeable. The only obstacle so far has been finding the right sized bags for these giant plates!!!
