Dulytek® Rosin Pre-Press Mold allows you to compact flower or kief so that you can press more rosin in less time. This ultimately improves production efficiency while increasing your ROI. Puck size is 1-3/4" x 5-3/4". Compacted material helps increase your yields and reduces filter bag blowouts during solvent-less concentrate oil extraction process. The mold consists of three parts that are made of food-grade anodized aluminum.

If I have the 2"x6" mold, would I want the 1.75"x5" or the 2"x5" bags? Or what about the 2"x6" bags? Is there a compatibility list somewhere I'm missing? Thanks
The puck size for the 2"x6" pre press mold is 5-3/4 x 1-3/4 inch. Thus you may want choose 2"x6", 2.5"x6.5" or 2"x7" bags.

I just got my 2 x 6 pre press mold and it doesn't fit between the plates on my dhp7. How does it work?
The pre-press mold is not supposed to be pressed by DHP7. You may just use hammer or your body weight on the pre-press mold. Dulytek is going to release a new equipment which can work with pre-press mold to get the puck more easily.

How exactly is this supposed to work with the 1.75 x 5 in bags? It seems to press something way to big to fit in the 1.75 x 5 in bags.
The internal dimension of the pre press mold is 5-3/4 x 1-3/4 inch, so it will fit the filter bag.

Does this work with dhp7? It's same size as plates but when you press it exceeds the plate size
Yes, it works with Dulytek DHP7.

How do you use it?
Pack your herbs in a filter bag, put the filter bag inside the mold, close it, place the mold on a press platen, and then gently press it with the press machine. The idea here is to create a pack of the same thickness so that, when you start extraction, temperature and pressure is applied equally to all parts of the pack. It improves overall rosin yield and quality.
